JINS 30min Night Walk
This special Keirin race was held for the first time in three years, since the “Summer Night Festival (GII)” in 2022. After the races concluded on the final day, Monday, July 21 (a national holiday), a night performance featuring drones and LEDs was staged.
With the cooperation of “REDCLIFF,” one of Japan’s largest drone show operators, and “MPLUSPLUS,” a performance group that dazzles with light and sound technology, LENS produced a new form of night entertainment. The project transformed the Tamano Velodrome from merely “a place to watch races” into “an evening entertainment space where people gather,” opening it up to audiences who do not normally visit keirin tracks.
The event fused a synchronized performance where the lights of drones dancing in the night sky, the movements of dancers clad in LEDs, and the music all responded to one another. Featuring elements such as a fire-breathing bird flapping its wings, this extraordinary experience where light, sound, and people became one enveloped the entire venue.
On the final day, the event attracted over 10,000 visitors, and the spectacle illuminating the night sky became a major topic of conversation, resonating deeply with the audience.
